TOmmy PARTL // Producer

Originally from Wisconsin, Tommy Partl has worked with Sixth Street Theatre in his hometown and CollaborAction in Chicago. His plays, The Meth in Method and A Quick Skit About Quitting, were performed in New York, Long Island, and Washington, DC. He’s thrilled to join the team for the 2019 festival.

Andrey Summers // Producer

Andrey is pursuing his MFA in Creative Writing at UBC, and has been writing and producing theatre for many years. His play A Snowflake on the Tongue of Oberon won the Sydney Arts Guide’s 2015 Best Fringe Comedy award, but he had left Australia by then and didn’t find out until a year later.  He writes for thebeaverton.com under the pseudonym Andrey Summers.

Bryan Wade // Faculty Advisor

Bryan Wade is a playwright, radio dramatist, & novelist. Stage plays have been produced in Toronto, Seattle and Chicago, radio dramas broadcast in Canada and Australia. Recently, Chatterbox Audio Theater produced Scavenge as a podcast. He teaches in UBC’s Creative Writing Department. His young adult novels are currently represented Upstart Crow Literacy.

JEnna MAirs // Associate Producer

Jenna is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Education degree at UBC, specializing in Secondary Theatre Education. She is a graduate of UBC’s BFA in Acting Program, having acted in Chamber Music, The Bacchae 2.1, Ubu Roi and as Viola in Twelfth Night. Jenna is thrilled to be a part of the 2019 festival and to have the opportunity to produce new plays.

Christina daudlin // marketing coordinator

Born and raised in North Vancouver, BC and Christina is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at UBC. When she’s not writing a paper on Shakespeare, she can be found singing with UBC A Capella and sitting on the editing board of The Garden Statuary literary journal.
