We are currently hiring for the position of PRODUCTION MANAGER for the 26/27 Brave New Play Rites Festival.

This is a UBC WorkLearn position open to domestic (undergraduate and graduate) and graduate international students. The position pays $33.08/hour for 300 hours total (approx. 10 hours per week) spread over the course of Winter Term 1 and 2.

Working in collaboration with the PRODUCER and ASSOCIATE PRODUCER, the PRODUCTION MANAGER is the third key member of the production team and is responsible for being the primary point of contact for all aspects of the festival. In Term 1, they will support the Producers by maintaining bi-weekly production meeting minutes and creating and/or updating workflow processes and paperwork in preparation for rehearsals. In Term 2, they will coordinate casting of actors and hiring of directors, schedule and attend rehearsals, run technical and dress rehearsals, and run all performances during the festival.
