Mark your calendars for March 10th - 13th, 2026 at Dorothy Somerset Studio!

BNPR is a playwriting festival which showcases the amazing work of graduate and undergraduate playwriting students in the UBC School of Creative Writing.

Led by BNPR’s production team, students and community members serve as actors, directors, stagehands, and other roles in collaboration with student playwrights. Check back in January 2026 for calls for submissions and volunteers!

BNPR 2026 will showcase staged readings of 10-minute plays over the course of four nights.
