    Esar Rabadi is a multi-genred writer and artist in her final year of a BFA at UBC’s School of Creative Writing. Her favourite forms to write in are stageplays, graphic forms, poetry, and spoken word amongst many others. Esar’s literary works are often absurd, humorous, and camp.

    Natasha is an emerging Filipino-Chinese theatre artist and playwright based on the unceded territories of the xwməθkwəy̓ əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱ wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓ íl̓ witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. With recent work showcased with Rumble Theatre and the Ignite Youth Festival, their practice is based on collective storytelling and laughter as a tool of healing.

    Amaruuk is in her final year of the Creative Writing BFA at UBC. When she’s not drinking coffee and explaining elaborate fan theories to her mother, she can be found in the nearest bookstore daydreaming about Lord Byron.

    DIRECTOR

    David Geary (Taranaki Māori) is an award-winning playwright, dramaturg, director, screenwriter, fiction writer and poet. He teaches at Capilano University in the Indigenous Digital Filmmaking, Documentary and Playwriting programs. He also teaches playwrighting and dramaturgy for PTC Playwrights Theatre Centre. He's a member of LMDA Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas. He lives by the yogic mantra: Life is short, stretch it, writes haiku on twitter @gearsgeary.

    Som is an actor, dancer and musician trained in the Meisner technique and has worked in several short and indie films and also wrote, directed, shot and edited his own short film "Breathe" during the pandemic.

    Medha has been involved with theatre for most of her life, and she absolutely loves it. She’s been acting professionally for two years and she finds joy in deepening her knowledge of her craft through classes, observation, and embodiment. She loves exploring and learning from those around her.

  • Hannah Mitchell

    Hannah Mitchell is a Vancouver-born actor and recent graduate of the UofT/Sheridan College Theatre and Drama Studies program. Past credits include Lady Macbeth in the Scottish Slay’s Macbeth as well as Tartuffe in Tartuffe, Death in Everybody and The Dog in The Witch of Edmonton with Theatre Erindale.

    Martina Biljan started her acting career in Croatia, where she completed her masters degree in acting. She performed in numerous theatre plays, tv shows and short films. Moving to Vancouver 8 years ago she continued with her acting career, and she played in a few theatre plays, short films and tv films. What is she up to now? In 2024 she is starting her Lessac facilitation practice, and Actors Accountability focus blocks. With Lessac facilitation her goal is to empower immigrants with the power of their voice and speech, and with Actors Accountability Focus blocks the goal is to create space for actors where they will have support and community which will hold them accountable to do the work, every day!     Daniel is excited to be involved with the next generation of Canadian playwrights. He is a recent graduate of Capilano University’s Acting for Stage and Screen program. When he isn’t on stage or in front of a camera, Daniel enjoys running, road cycling and cross-country skiing in the mountains of BC. Past credits include TBH (CapU Theatre), The Secret in the Wing’s (CapU Theatre)and The Great Invention (Gold Fever Follies).
